Question:
my renault laguna abs light is on am sure its one of the sensors when i fix it is there anyway to reset it?

i mean reset the abs without taking it to the dealer or will the light just go out itself

after you replace the faulty sensor, try taking the car for a test drive the light may just go out as the abs computer will no longer see a fault on the system. I f the light does go out then the fault will still be stored in the computers memory, it will just be memorised as a temporary fault. Failing that most garage's these days will have some kind of diagnostic equipment to read fault codes, so a trip to a dealer should not be necessary .

It will def need 2 go to a garage to get the abs light reset.the ECU has a memory of all faults so it wont correct itself.Are u sure its the sensor and not the reluctar ring on the wheel bearing?Def take it 2 a mechanic anyway,good luck!

It may go out but it will probably need resetting by a garage.
